CaraPol AAR-127 is an aqueous dispersion of a hydrophobic acrylic copolymer. This polymer produces a clear, colorless, film which is semi-soft and flexible at room temperature and offers exceptional water and blush resistance. The fine particle size of CaraPol AAR-127 allows good penetration into substrates which provides for good sealer performance. Additionally, for air dry applications this polymer has a low coalescent demand.
CaraPol AAR-127 does not contain any silicones, PTFE or waxes to achieve water repellency. The polymer is inherently hydrophobic due to the monomers employed. Applications and features of this product include:
CaraPol hydrophobic polymers are compatible with most waterborne acrylic emulsions and can be used either alone or as an extender. The variety of applications and substrates include wood, textile, concrete, leather, vinyl, metal, rigid plastics, paper, film, foil or glass.
